Right off the bat, at level 1 I catch Diana alone trying to ward my blue and basically auto her to near-death. From this point, I flash forward expecting me and Thresh to flash+auto for the kill. However, Thresh goes for flash hook instead and we trade 1 flash for our 2 (on champions who need it early more). Very bad outcome.

In terms of what could’ve been played better, I think that this is a bad play since if Diana flashed at the same time we did in anticipation (a good player would do this in this spot), the outcome is the same. Not super clear from first glance but I’d consider this a bad play.
Because of this, Diana backed at 1:03 which means that her clear ends up starting 7s late. Because of that, this ward is actually awful.

Very autopilot decision. If I were thinking, I’d use ward on enemy raptors instead and be able to get tracking information.
Also from here, toplane is obviously fighting but I don’t pan camera. I end up not being able to know if Singed used ghost or not (people don’t ping it in this elo).

At the point of crab spawning, I’m still unsure where Diana is because her clear was delayed. However, the second I get on the vacant bot crab I should immediately ping top lane danger even if I’m wrong.

This is because if she’s botside, we win the fight with our bot prio. If she respects us, she’ll walk to topside anyways. There is very little downside to not pinging danger top (but I don’t do it in fear of being wrong).
I end up reganking the flashless Kai’Sa and do maybe the worst thing you’ll ever see in your lifetime. Instead of Eing myself and walking at her, I throw Q which easily gets dodged.

The reason why I was so impatient was because I expected her to E away. I thought that if I play it too slow, I risk her getting away with E movement speed. However, I don’t think she can outrun my E even with hers (and holding Q also may lead to her juking herself out anyways)
From the position shown here, I hold Q and go for AAs on Kai’Sa. This leads to both me and thresh missing Q later on and the losing the fight (Diana joins later making it 1 for 2)

This is the easiest spot to and Q from with Kai’Sa being slowed by my E. I thought it’d be an easy kill and I can save Q for either Diana joining the fight or Neeko running away. However, Kai’Sa has barrier up and we really need all the dmg we can get. Since I didn’t recognize the risk, we lose this exchange.
We just successfully won a 3v3 fight mid, but Singed was able to stall it out for a pretty long time. Because of this, Diana can respawn and immediately run grubs and I don’t have R to contest.

In this instance, the choice is very clear. Trade grubs for one of Diana’s botside camps and then gank bot uncontested after Daisy comes off CD. Instead, I walk top and try to kill Diana after she finishes grubs. Even though this ended in a kill, it’s a very bad and inconsistent play. It only worked because Diana is an inter.
Also lol:

Because of this neglect of botside, we end up losing first tower the T2 a bit later into the game. Obviously this happened because my teammates were bad to some extent, but I had control over it and didn’t play correctly.

I end up getting my first death here due to being in a fight and not paying attention to tracking where players could be. I see that my Q misses on raptors and assume it’s Yone stacking Q3 but as I walk in I find out that it’s Diana taking them.

This could be prevented by bushing the bush for vision instead of the raptor pit. It doesn’t show the raptors in the case of Yone stacking Q3 (since they’ll be running in the opposite direction), but it does keep me safe which is what’s important when walking into the jungle at 20% hp.
My second death comes from me accidentally right click dashing into a Neeko E.

Overall very poor performance. Need to do better.
